Dr. Ruth caught on film in the Lab!
Dr. Teresa C.
Ruth is a graduate of the University of Georgia,
College
of Veterinary Medicine, but has known since childhood that she wanted
to become a veterinarian.

She has been working at veterinary practices since she was 15 years old.
Both her grandfather, Robert Volgenau, and her great-grandfather, Earnest
Volgenau, were veterinarians in Buffalo.
Dr. Ruth has
helped animals at veterinary practices in Texas, Georgia, Pennsylvania,
New York, and overseas in Scotland and Germany.
Dr. Ruth's
special interests include avian and reptile medicine, and other exotic
animals (ferrets, rabbits, etc.). When she's not at the hospital, Dr. Ruth
enjoys spending time with her husband, bird and two cats, hiking, kayaking
and rollerblading.
