This XRay machine was designed specifically for use with small and exotic animals. Therefore, it uses much lower doses of radiation than other veterinary practices, which may be using machines from human hospitals. Even so, we still have the room lead-lined for safety! The window you see is also leaded. You can't see it here, but our automatic XRay film processor (located in the darkroom) will process your animal's radiographs in 90 seconds!
