If Dr. Ruth or one of our technicians needs to consult
a medical text, books and journals can be found here. Also, this room is
used for consulting with clients, away from barking dogs and other distractions.
Lastly, when someone makes the difficult decision to euthanize their pet,
the library is a quiet place to visit and say goodbye. We wanted to have
a "homier" place in the hospital for people to spend time with their animals
before, during, or after euthanasia, and without feeling rushed by others
with appointments.
